Greenville Central School District is located between the historic Hudson River, the spectacular Catskill Mountains and the growing Tech Valley region.

The Greenville Central School District serves students who reside in Albany and Greene Counties with the school campus, centrally located in the Town of Greenville, on the northern edge of Greene County. The school district, which encompasses eleven (11) townships, is approximately 135 square miles in area.

The location of 22 miles south of Albany, the Capitol of New York State, 135 miles north of New York City and 182 miles west of Boston provides many opportunities for the Greenville School Community. The proximity to these areas provides easy access to many cultural opportunities for our students, their families, and faculty. The Town of Greenville is accessible via the New York State Thruway and County Route 81 and Route 32 provides convenient access from western Albany County.
