Nestled between the historic Hudson River, the Catskill Mountains, and the Capital Region's growing tech corridor, Greenville Central School District is looking for an inspiring, student-centered Social Studies Teacher (7-12) to join our secondary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engaging 7-12 Instruction: Plan and deliver rigorous, state-aligned social studies lessons that build strong critical reading, writing, and analytical skills.

  • Foster Critical Inquiry: Create a safe, structured, and respectful environment where students can analyze primary sources, engage in civil dialogue, and evaluate multiple perspectives.

  • Collaborative Professionalism: Work collaboratively with cross-curricular teams to vertically align historical skills and literacy, participating actively in planning time and professional development.

  • Classroom Mentorship: Provide student support both during and after school, helping students find their voice, develop their strengths, and thrive academically.
