Act as the official custodian of all district funds, managing bank accounts, cash flow, investments, and wire transfers in accordance with NYS Education Law and OSC guidelines. -
Perform monthly bank reconciliations for all district accounts and prepare clear, accurate Treasurer’s Reports for the Board of Education. -
Monitor cash balances, co-sign district checks/disbursements, and assist with annual financial audits. As Payroll Clerk: -
Process bi-weekly payroll for all full-time, part-time, substitute, and seasonal employees with high accuracy and confidentiality. -
Maintain employee payroll records, including deductions, tax withholdings, retirement system reporting (TRS & ERS), health insurance contributions, and direct deposits. -
Reconcile payroll tax filings (Quarterly/Annual 941s, W-2s) and respond promptly to staff payroll inquiries with a warm, helpful approach.
